I am a community leader, consensus builder, facilitator, healing practitioner, community attorney, policy advocate, cultural artist, and youth mentor with 40 years of leadership experience. 

I am running for mayor because I love Oakland—its people, its distinct neighborhood life and the spirit that makes us who we are. I believe in Oakland’s ability to rise and our leadership needs to show that.
